Ingrid Ellen Scarlett Johansson (New York, United States, November 22 of 1984), known as Scarlett Johansson, is an actress of film, model and singer with citizenship U.S. and Danish. Rose to fame with her role in the film Man Horse Whisperer (1998) and later earned acclaim from film critics because of its participation in Ghost World. Scarlett Johansson was born in the city of New York on November 22 of 1984. Her father, Karsten Johansson hails from Denmark and architect by profession, and her mother Melanie Sloan is film producer and comes from a family of Ashkenazi’s county of New York Bronx. Her paternal grandfather, Ejner Johansson was screenwriter and film director. Johansson has dual citizenship, U.S. and Denmark. Her parents met in Denmark, where her mother lived with her grandmother Dorothy, who was a librarian and teacher of a school in that country. The actress has a older sister, Vanessa , who is also an actress, a brother named Adrian, a brother twin known as Hunter, who is also an actor, and a half brother of the second marriage of her father named Christian.
