Megan Fox was born on May 16, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee. She dropped out of high school after winning modeling awards & moved to Los Angeles. Her first big break came with the film, Holiday in the Sun in 2001. In 2007 Fox was cast opposite Shia LeBouef in the Hollywood block buster Transformers. Fox was also in the sequel but was cut from the third installment. Megan Fox is married to Brian Austin Green.

At the age of 5, Megan Fox began taking singing & dancing lessons, which continued when she & her family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. When she was 13, she also added modeling classes to her repertoire.

In 1999, Fox won several awards at the American Modeling & Talent Convention. The success achieved here convinced her to drop out of high school & move to Los Angeles, just a few years later, at the age of 16. In the same year, Fox landed her first big break when she was cast as a bratty heiress in the film Holiday in the Sun (2001). Next few years, she continued to appear in guest-spot TV roles. Her next role was in 2002, when she appeared in Ocean Ave. That same year, Megan Fox also appeared in a guest-starring role in the show, What I Like About You.

2004 was a big lucky year for Megan Fox. Fox made an appearance in the CBS hit comedy Two & a Half Men & was a series regular on the WB sitcom, The Help. She was starred on the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith, where she played the daughter of Faith Ford's character in the second & third seasons. Her outstanding performance earned her a Young Artists Award nomination in 2005.Back to the film she won the role as Carla Santi, a rival of Lohan's character, in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

Her biggest breakthrough was in 2007 when she was cast for the blockbuster, Transformers. She was nominated for the 2008 MTV Movie Award for her outstanding Performance. The next year, Fox joined the cast of the comedy How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. The movie did well in the UK because of the presence of famous comedian Simon Pegg, but did not gain much commercial success in the USA. The sequel “Transformers: Rise of the Fallen” was again a box office success & kept Fox in the media spotlight.

In 2010, Fox became engaged to actor Brian Austin Green. The couple had been engaged previously, after a 2 year relationship canceled their wedding in 2009. They reaffirmed their commitment to each other in June, 2010 in Hawaii. They has not disclosed details of their upcoming nuptials.
